a light in the darkness

the church in west hartford held its first service since irene. that community was hit pretty hard in the storm and the ensuing flooding – harder than most of the areas around here. it was freezing in the basement while the electricity situation made exposing correctly very difficult, the service was moving. i felt privileged to have been there.
