photographed more flood recovery at what used to be a real estate company located right next to the covered bridge in quechee, vt. the woman in the sunglasses in the first picture is the owner and the guy in blue in the second picture is her son. everyone else who was there was a volunteer. i talked to the owner, barbara, for a while. apparently the basement, which used to be an art gallery, was the most ruined part of the building. there used to be so many beautiful oil paintings in here, she told me. now they’re anywhere between quechee and the ocean.
